We are inviting expressions of interest from residents, family members and members of the community to join our Resident Experience Committee, a subcommittee of the St Basil’s Board.
This is your opportunity to ensure the voices of residents and families are heard and reflected in how we deliver care, services and everyday experiences.
About St Basil’s
St Basil’s is a not-for-profit aged care provider supporting South Australians across residential care, day respite and community services.

About the Committee
The Resident Experience Committee is a Board subcommittee that provides advice to the Board and Chief Executive on matters relating to:
- Resident and family experience
- Feedback, compliments and complaints
- Opportunities to improve quality of life and wellbeing
The Committee meets quarterly.
Your Role
As a Committee Member, you will:
- Share your lived experience as a resident, family member or representative
- Help us understand what matters most in everyday life and care
- Contribute to shaping improvements aligned with our Living Well Model
- Support a culture of listening, inclusion and continuous improvement
Who We’re Looking For
We are seeking people who:
- Are current residents, family members, or representatives of someone receiving aged care
- Are passionate about improving the experience of older people
- Are willing to share their perspective in a respectful and constructive way
No formal qualifications are required—your lived experience is what matters most.
