Living well at St Basil’s means that improvements to our homes are driven by our residents needs and wants.

We love to have our residents involved in projects that will make their life better at St Basil’s, especially when they have come up with a great idea! This could be things like a new garden, upgraded men’s shed or hoppy area, chapel enhancements, or even an extra special event or outing – such as going to a concert or sporting event.

We know our St Basil’s community often has the experience, skills and knowledge to help turn these resident driven ideas into a reality. This could be by taking part in a focus group, helping us out in a hands-on way, or donating goods, services, or funds.

Fundraising can also assist towards the purchase of special equipment that would not normally be funded, like the tricycle that we purchased for residents of Aegean Village to share!

Fundraising and donations play a role in creating special experiences and memories for our residents. You may choose to donate to a specific St Basil’s home or make a general donation or bequest to support something of your choice.

Donations over $2 are tax deductible and can be made via electronic funds transfer (EFT), credit card at any of our homes, or by post.
